1. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed (scrypt) password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Chat & image data: the messages you send and receive, and any images you request, so your companions can remember your conversations.
- Plan & usage data: your subscription tier, daily usage counts, and timestamps used to enforce limits and provide the service.
- Payment data: handled entirely by our third-party payment processor. We receive a subscription status and references (customer/subscription IDs) — we do not store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address and basic request metadata, used transiently for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
- To operate the service: deliver companion replies and remember your conversations.
- To manage your account, plan, and billing status.
- To enforce usage limits, our Content Policy, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private chats to contact you or for advertising.
3. Cookies & local storage
We use minimal browser storage rather than tracking cookies: a flag that you confirmed you are 18+, and a login token so you stay signed in. Guest chats (before you sign up) are stored only in your own browser's local storage.
4. Who we share data with
We share the minimum necessary with service providers ("processors") who help us run the service:
- AI model provider(s) — your message text and the companion's persona are sent to a language-model API to generate replies, and an image-generation provider for photo requests. Your email is not sent with these requests.
- Payment processor — to take and manage subscription payments.
- Hosting/infrastructure — to run the servers and store your data.
These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
5. Retention
We keep your account and chat data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and all stored conversations are removed from our active systems. Some records (e.g., payment records) may be retained by our processors where required by law.
6. Your rights & controls
Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. You can exercise the main ones yourself:
- Access & export: download everything we hold about you as a file from your account page.
- Deletion: permanently delete your account and all chat history from the same page, at any time.
- Other requests: contact us via the Support page and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security
Passwords are salted and hashed with scrypt; login tokens are stored hashed; traffic is served over HTTPS in production. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
8. No minors
TransLuxe AI is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately via Support and we will remove it.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
